Horror News Network presented the first ever Connecticut HorrorFest on 8/23/14 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Waterbury,CT. You would have never known it was their first event with how it was organized and how smoothly everything ran.
The crowd was as excited as a zombie finding fresh flesh as Connecticut horror fans have equally been starved for a horror convention in the state. CT HorrorFest did not disappoint. You can get makeup applied to look like a zombie, buy horror merchandise, roam through The Haunted Graveyard and meet the writers, artists and actors that bring horror to life.
The attendees weren't the only one who were excited at the convention. All of the guests and vendors were clearly having a blast!
One of the most memorable moments is when actor IronE Singleton (T-Dog of The Walking Dead) performed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge live at the con!
We would like to thank the Horror News Network crew for making their first convention a memorable one. Horror lives in Connecticut thanks to CT HorrorFest!
