It was a virtual who's who of comic book icons. Neal Adams, George Pérez, Klaus Janson and David Finch were some of the amazing artists in attendance. Stars of television and film such as Ray Park (Darth Maul and Snake Eyes), William Katt (The Greatest American Hero), Maximiliano Hernández (Jasper Sitwell of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Jordan Hembrough of The Travel Channel's Toy Hunter were there having a blast meeting fans.
Since cosplay is so popular at ComiCONN, the costume contest on Saturday was a huge hit! It was standing room only while the crowd gathered to see some great costumes and entertaining judges.
The vendors room had even more comics and collectibles than ever before. From 25 cent bin comics, graded silver age comics, original comic book art, statues and action figures, it was all there.
The attendees loved the movie and television vehicles on display. Fans were taking photos with K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, the laser Jeep from V, The Tumbler from Batman Begins and many others.
ComiCONN promoters Erik Yacko (Alternate Universe) ,Mitch Hallock (Big Fedora Marketing) and the entire ComiCONN crew did an incredible job making the jump from a 1 day convention to a 3 day event.
